Services: Restoration, Painting

Prorise Painting was contracted in partnership with Navco Construction by the Federal Goverment to complete a restoration and painting project at 6947 Lougheed Highway, Agassiz, BC. The scope of work included stripping of all existing coatings, and restoration and painting of all bird houses, dormers and fascia boards. The building is listed as one of Canada’s protected heritage buildings and is located on the UBC campus. The 100+ year old structure is recognized as a Federal Heritage Building because of its historical associations and its architectural and environmental value.

Prorise had to remove lead, oil and latex based coatings that were built up for the past 100 years from all surfaces. After all areas were stripped, all wood was sanded, primed and painted.  The entire project was inspected and passed by Federal Goverment appointed inspectors. This project was completed on time and on budget.
